I went to Charles Fréger’s “Wilder Mann” exhibit at Yossi Milo Gallery last night with David, which featured photographs of pagan festivals in 12 countries in Europe. It was the last night of the exhibit and we squeezed in about 15 minutes before the gallery closed (thanks to traffic coming back from garage-sale-ing in NJ). You can see some of the photos online here. I’m really really glad we made it to the exhibit because the photographs were so much more colorful and incredible and slightly disurbing in person.
Me: “Tadd, what happened to your forehead?”
Tadd: “It’s a raspberry from the carpet at school.”
Me: “Why were you rubbing your head on the carpet?”
Tadd: “Because it was making my hair soft, but then it started burning my head.”
Fingers I hurt this weekend at my other job.
Left: blood blister from my finger getting slammed between a jack stand and a crow bar (this hurt so bad I almost vomited)
Right: I don’t remember how it happened, but my finger bled for two hours.
(My nails are in awful shape & I’m embarrassed.)
Yesterday: Gorgeous light in Central Park provided the perfect backdrop for post-work empanada picnic with David.
